I found these black-out, energy efficient curtains at Walmart for $5. It was a steal of a deal because not only was the price good, but they were exactly the color and material I wanted. They match the other decor perfectly. Anyway, I had to hem them (they were pretty dang long), but now I am thinking about going even shorter and making them closer to window height rather than to the floor. What do you think?

ReplyDeleteWe have some both ways. The kids constantly dance with the curtains that go to the floor. They pulled on it and the curtain rod came out of the dry wall. Go with the shorter ones.
